De smaken en de zonnige gezichten zijn wel op orde in dit restaurant, maar er zijn wat puntjes waaraan gewerkt kan worden; zo was er vreselijk taaie eend, niet doorheen te komen. De dimsum was oke, niets op aan te merken, maar niet anders dan andere dimsum overal.

De smaken en de zonnige gezichten zijn wel op orde in dit restaurant, maar er zijn wat puntjes waaraan gewerkt kan worden; zo was er vreselijk taaie eend, niet doorheen te komen. De dimsum was oke, niets op aan te merken, maar niet anders dan andere dimsum overal.
De ingredienten van de curry waren buiten de curry gegaard en er later ingedaan, vlak voor opdienen. Een raar contrast: (te) scherpe curry met daarin smakeloze items; reepjes silken tofu (kán ook niet meesudderen in curry, dan lost het op), taaie paddestoel, wat nog heel moeilijk is om voor elkaar te krijgen en een stronkje groente. De met bieten gekleurde garnalen waren leuk om te zien en gaven icm het kurkuma-gekleurde velletje deeg een fijn mondgevoel. De smaak was goed. Het toetje was qua smaakcombinatie goed bedacht, een klein verrassingkje. Het stukje vis tussendoor was perfect gegaard en precies goed gekruid met wat oestersaus.
Al met al een wisselende ervaring. Hopelijk is de kok nog in de leer er wordt hij op punten steeds beter.
Heerlijk eten en fantastische en attente bediening
Wij hebben een heerlijke avond gehad bij NOMADS! De bediening was top, het eten was top en met onze tafel aan het water leek het net of we op vakantie waren. Wij komen zeker terug.
