if you look for an evening where everything is more than excellent you should visit Graphite. The food is absolutely fabulous, a great pleasure for the eye and exceptionally tasteful. The service is, right from the start with a very warm welcome, very good with all the staff irradiating a pleasure to serve you at their best. De bediening was fantastisch en de wijnkaart top. Maar wat even zo te gek was aan deze avond is de hele belevenis die ze er omheen gecreëerd hebben. Van de entree tot het interieur tot de muziek... Dit moet je een keer ervaren. Dit is echt een hele dikke aanrader.
Spannende entree, en intieme setting van het restaurant, we wisten niet wat we moesten verwachten maar dat het speciaal zou zijn en een hoog niveau maakte de verwachtingen groot.
Werkelijk fantastische combinaties en oogstrelende gerechtjes met zoveel aandacht gepresenteerd en vooral de smaakcombinaties en sensaties!
Aangenaam verrast deze avond en een absolute ‘must do en try’!

About Graphite
Graphite is the first speakeasy restaurant in the Netherlands and is located in the Paardenstraat near Rembrandtplein. The restaurant is mysterious and hard to find. So you have to look for a door with a scanner and take your QR code with you.
The setting in the restaurant is reminiscent of bars at the time of the American reclamation. An intimate yet spacious restaurant with a clubby atmosphere, loud music and dimmed lights. A mysterious environment.
Chef Peter Gast has earned his spurs in the past 16 years as chef of restaurant 't Schultenhues in Zutphen. He prepares classic dishes and refined sauces and combines these with inventive ideas.
In 2020 Graphite was awarded 1 Michelin star and in total they have 16 Gault&Millau points.
