Wel had de tonkaboon (wat in het dessert zit ) mijn intresse gewekt. Wat nu blijkt schrok ik heel erg van. In sommigen landen is de tonkaboon al verboden. Namelijk uit onderzoeken blijkt dat tonkabonen zeer slecht voor de gezondhei...

Wel had de tonkaboon (wat in het dessert zit ) mijn intresse gewekt. Wat nu blijkt schrok ik heel erg van. In sommigen landen is de tonkaboon al verboden. Namelijk uit onderzoeken blijkt dat tonkabonen zeer slecht voor de gezondheid is.
Het kan lever schaden aanbrengen en de bloedstolling verminderen.
Aangezien dat ik lever patiënt ben schrok ik hiervan.
Ik weet niet of de chef/baas hiervan op de hoogte is /was. Maar mijn mening is wel dat een goede chef product specificaties van het product bekijkt en was dit zeker tegen gekomen. En had dat moeten overwegen of hij dit wel wilde serveren.
Maar verder prima gegeten, toch moest ik dit melden.
Lekker gegeten alleen al die 10e die mensen geven een beetje overdreven altijd ruimte voor verbetering

Geweldig gegeten en wat een fantastische leuke bediening. De koks staan net als de bediening met veel plezier in de keuken dat kun je zien en proeven. Dit is geen restaurant als alle restaurant het heeft een eigen karakter en dat is echt fantastisch om deze beleving mee te maken. Wij komen zeker vaker terug. Complimenten en blijf vooral zo doorgaan.

Over de tonkaboon:
Wij zijn hiervan op de hoogte, alleen is het zo dat alleen bij een grote hoeveelheid en veel gebruik er bewezen is dat het schadelijk zou “kunnen” zijn. Wij halen de tonkaboon uit het product en trekken alleen de smaak uit de tonkaboon dus u eet de tonkaboon ook niet in zijn geheel op. Verder weken wij eerst de tonkaboon in alcohol waardoor de schadelijke werking coumarine afgebroken zou worden.
Het dessert zijn smaken die op dit moment in het seizoen zijn.
