de chef weet duidelijk waar hij mee bezig is : dit bezoek aan herberg van smallingerland was een voltreffer ; ik kan me niet voorstellen dat het niveau à la carte minder is
het interieur is charmant , maar doet wat oubollig aan , dit komt wellicht omdat er in een historisch pand logischerwijs beperkingen zijn qua inrichting en aankleding - ( of men wou de originele ziel behouden ) -
correcte en vriendelijke bediening , wijnkennis kon beter . . .
een absolute aanrader voor wie op een gemoedelijke manier de betere keuken wil savoureren of leren kennen ; mijn globale score 8,5/10
