We kwamen hier in de restaurantweek. Leuke sfeer in restaurant. Er werd ons niks verteld over het menu. Het eten was weinig spannend. De bijpassende wijnen waren wel erg lekker, maar €28 voor 4 glazen redelijk aan de prijs. Het dessert was mierzoet evenals de bijpassende wijn. Niet mijn smaak en ik had graag de keuz...

De bijpassende wijnen waren wel erg lekker, maar €28 voor 4 glazen redelijk aan de prijs. Het dessert was mierzoet evenals de bijpassende wijn. Niet mijn smaak en ik had graag de keuze gehad voor kaas als alternatief (evt voor een meerprijs). Ik had dat zelf moeten aangeven vond de gastheer. Vervolgens toch nog kaas besteld met een glas Madeira en de zoete dessertwijn niet op gedronken. Dit glas stond ook gewoon weer op de rekening. Niet echt service en de gastheer sloot af met: volgende keer om kaas vragen! Nee dat is wat mij betreft de omgedraaide wereld, volgende keer graag vooraf de menumogelijkheden voorleggen!

Uitgebalanceerd diner met heerlijke bijbehorende wijnen. De gerechten waren prachtig opgediend en het smaakte geweldig en dit in combinatie met de lekkere wijnen, een heel aardige patron, die terzake kundig is. Wat wil een mens nog meer??
